The Security
module lets the site administrator add, edit, and delete
the users of the Site Administration Tool (Blue interface).
Once a user is added, the user can begin updating the content
of the other modules used by the web site.
The Security module also
lets you set up users so they can access parts of the
web site that are restricted to certain user groups. For
example, if you create a web page that contains company
financial records, you could restrict access to the web
page by selecting the Accountant group when you create
the web page. Then, only users in the Accounting group
of the Security module can view the web page on the web
site. These users will have to enter their user IDs and
passwords each time they want to view the web page.
