An autoresponder
is used to return the contents of a file as the response to a mail
message sent to an address on your server. The most common use is
responding to an E-mail request with a pre-prepared document that
you have worded.
Freedom may be configured to so that there is a unique message for
each form used on the Freedom site. This tool is built into the
Blue Interface, and is very easy for a novice to identify and use.

If
you wish your visitors to be able to fill out forms and send information
to you in a secure manner, you will need to have SSL, Secure Socket
Layer, installed on your server for a one time charge of $50. To
make SSL able to send the data to your server, however, your server
must be assigned a digital identification certificate. This must
be purchased from Verisign Corporation, and or, its subsidiary,
Thawte (which Verisign acquired some time ago). We can help you
obtain your digital certificate. The cost for the certificate depends
upon the type of encryption. The least expensive type is 40 bit
encryption, and starts at $125 per year (renewals at $100). 128
bit encryption is also available.
